Eine elektro-akustische Musikperformance in neun Teilen.

Alexander Hacke kombiniert die Klänge des analog-monophonen Korg MS-20 Synthesizers mit computerisiert-digitaler Signalverarbeitung. Hierbei entsteht kreative Spannung. Schwebungen treffen auf rhythmische Sequenzen. Netzbrummen harmonisiert mit subfrequenten Akkordfolgen.

Danielle de Picciotto setzt sich für den visuellen Teil der Show mit Elektrizität als formbares, flexibles Element auseinander. Sie fängt mit einem Ausgangsbild an welches sie dann stetig dekonstruiert. Die verschiedenen Stufen dieser Entwicklung sind ein Versuch Elektrizität als ästhetische Form zudefinieren.

Alexander Hacke ist seit 25 Jahren Mitglied der Einstürzenden Neubauten, hat seine Solo-CD Sanctuary 2005 im Indigo Vertrieb veröffentlicht und führte jüngst durch Fatih Akins Dokumentation Crossing The Bridge / The Sound Of Istanbul

Danielle de Picciotto arbeitet als Interdisziplinäre Künstlerin seit 1985 in den Bereichen Malerei, Film und Fotografie; sie war Sängerin der Space Cowboys, Mitbegründerin der Love Parade und Kuratorin von Kunst oder König.

This performance by Alexander Hacke and Danielle de Picciotto is an electronic/acoustic show in nine chapters.

Alexander Hacke combines sounds from the analog-monophon Korg MS-20 Synthesizer with digital-computer signals. This clash produces intense results - floating sounds meet rhythmical sequences - electrical buzzing harmonizes with sub frequent chord progressions.

Danielle de Picciotto intensifies the developing sound with her visual part of the show. She shows electricity in a flexible form ever changing and morphing into new streams of speed and beauty. In each chapter she starts with an image which she adapts to the music's progression. The different phases of this development are an example of electricity as an aesthetic form.

Alexander Hacke has been a member of the band Einstürzende Neubauten for 25 years. He released his solo album Sanctuary in 2005 und was the main character in Fatih Akins latest movie Crossing the Bridge/The sound of Istanbul.

Danielle de Picciotto has been working as an interdisciplinary artist since 1985. She mainly works in the field of painting, illustration, film and photography. She sang in the band Space Cowboys and The Ocean Club, was co-founder of the Love Parade and curator of the exhibition event series Kunst oder König.
